Anita Athavale Signs As Premiere Artist With Fanboy Management
Canadian singer/songwriter Anita Athavale signs an agreement with Fanboy Management, a new artist management firm, founded by long time U.S. indie-exec/producer/artist Ken Gullic.
Calgary, AB March 31, 2008 — Vacation Records is proud to announce the signing of Anita Athavale to L.A. based Fanboy Management. This venture coincides with her entry into the U.S. market.

About Anita Athavale
2007 saw the release of In The Noise, Anita Athavale’s second self-produced album. The title track recently garnered major exposure in the U.S. on Nic Harcourt’s influential “Morning Becomes Eclectic” show broadcast on the L.A. NPR station, KCRW. In January of 2008, Anita took the stage for her debut U.S. showcase at Hotel Café, a prominent stepping stone venue for up and coming artists. Anita was also recently featured in the “Wheels and Deals” column in HITS magazine, the leading A&R tip sheet. April 29th, 2008 marks Anita’s New York City debut at “Piano’s”. Her Canadian exposure includes features on Much Music television, CBC radio, high-profile NXNE showcases, and a recent story on Chartattack.com. Anita will also be a featured act during Junofest 2008 in Calgary. Summer tour dates will be announced shortly.
About Ken Gullic and Fanboy Management
Counting 25 years of experience in the record business, Ken Gullic launches L.A. based Fanboy Management. Gullic produced his own Parasol Records act Boot Camp in 1999, complete with appearances from Cheap Trick’s Robin Zander and Bruce Kulick of KISS. Hailing from the suburbs of Chicago, Gullic worked his way up through the industry before landing executive gigs at Relativity Records (Joe Satriani, Our Lady Peace) and Loud Records (Xzibit, Wu Tang Clan). Prior to launching Fanboy Management, Gullic completed a successful four-year stint as a founding executive with Fontana Distribution (KISS, Rocco Deluca, Metric).
