They have it featured online (see it here) or you can find it available in print in fine shops and markets in Calgary’s downtown district.
*You can also find a feature article about Anita Athavale in the freshly launched and limited-print independent magazine Atbt (All The Best Things) in Calgary. Their web site is in the works, but some sought after copies of the glossy mag are rumoured to be floating around town.

Anita Athavale has been invited to perform at the Ironwood Stage on Friday April 4th, 2008 as a feature act during Junofest Weekend in Calgary, Alberta.
Junofest is a two day music festival featuring performances by many local and national Canadian acts as well as a number of JUNO nominees. JunoFest takes place April 4th and 5th, 2008- and is capped off by the internationally broadcast Canadian JUNO awards show on Sunday April 6th.

Canadian singer/songwriter Anita Athavale releases her first video for online audiences.
Calgary, AB (PRWEB) September 17, 2007 — Vacation Records is proud to announce the release of Anita Athavale’s first video from her new album, “In The Noise”. The self-produced video, South Pacific, will be officially released on YouTube.com and made available to industry leading music networks for broadcast. It will be the first non-commercial web release of her music to a major media distribution and social networking website.
“I feel we definitely captured the story and emotion of South Pacific in the video. What’s exciting is the way it links the music and my vision of the song,” says Anita. “The choruses come alive on screen, the same way we envisioned them in the studio.”
The South Pacific video will be featured at the Eighth Annual Calgary International Film Festival which takes place between September 21st and September 30th 2007.
About Anita Athavale
A Calgary resident, Anita Athavale was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. She has been songwriting and performing for over a decade. In 2002, Anita released the acoustic album The First Time, and in 2007 co-produced her second album In The Noise. She has opened for Kathleen Edwards, Holly McNarland and was recently featured on “Going Coastal: MuchMusic Does Calgary”.
